A boutique, multi-service firm specializing in Project Planning for Equestrian Barns, ADUs, Granny Flats, and Small-Space Living. 

NOW OFFERING: Senior Living Transition Services - We have found the desire for clients to transition to a small-space or ADU design-build creates an additional service need. 

They find themselves in a situation where they want to downsize to these beautiful, small spaces, but do not have the ability to manage the project of the transition from the current home. They just don't want to deal with it, the children live far away, friends are all of the same age and the simple thought of moving is daunting. 

Within our Project Management Team, we've developed a specialized team that will manage Senior Transitions. A system that works to alleviate the stresses of the downsize or transition. You do not have to be a design-build client. These services are offered independently.  They are affordable and available in RI/CT/MA. This specialized Project Management Team will help organize - clean-outs, estate sales, movers, real estate agents, contractors, and more.

Horses & Humans...

It sounds odd right,  a firm that combines large-space design for horses and small-space design for humans? But its who we are and what we know. So for us, it goes together like peanut butter and jelly. Whether it be an equestrian facility or a small space living project, we not only have the years of experience, both personal and professional, we have a complete understanding of what  clients are searching for in their build. A unique source for equestrians, active adults and adults looking to escape from the pressure of large homes. 

Being life-long equestrians as well as well-versed in the ADU process for those clients looking to add additional living space on their existing property. The ADU creates a home for aging parents, college graduate children just starting out in the world or allows private space for live-in help that may be assisting in making your day to day life easier.       

These skills and knowledge have been placed in a box and wrapped with a ribbon resulting in the perfect package.  

The most exciting part is making a difference to those that decide to allow us the pleasure of creating a space where horse or human can live beautifully too.

The Intention...

By taking an Artful Abodes approach, where every project "is" a work of art and every piece of the project is a syllable of the words in the language of the design. Each piece will speak through its surroundings and bring the outdoors in while conserving the natural bends and curves of nature, its texture and color.  

Choices such as living roofs, living walls, water features, solar options and more, create an oasis not only providing beautiful surroundings but also allowing nature to be a partner in your space. 

The intention is that every project, be it horse or human living space, every client and every location reflects the Artful Abodes belief of living beautifully. Each individual piece of the project, especially, the client - their style, their location, their needs & wants align with their budget and are always a consideration throughout the project.

By collaborating with the best trades from initial design through permitting, the build, interior selections, and landscape design & gardening,  we strive to ensure not only a satisfied customer, but an over-joyed client living beautifully in their Artful Abodes space.
